GIZELLA CALINGO
Meet Gizella Calingo, an Australian-Filipino owner and founder, the creative force behind GIZELLA, an online store based in Australia. Gizella is a versatile filmmaker, photographer, designer, multi-disciplinary artist, and writer with a wide range of skills, including film and art direction, set and production design, prop making, costume design, and makeup artistry (SFX, Prosthetics, avant-garde/festival makeup). In addition to filmmaking, she is also the owner and founder of Gizella Films @gizellafilms and Gizella's Life @gizellalife. She is a digital creator, content creator, website designer, 3D illustrator, and 3D animator who will soon be producing Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat filters, interactive games, and video tutorials.
"As an Australian-Filipina, I have had the privilege of living and travelling in seven different countries 🌍, including The Philippines 🇵🇭, Hong Kong 🇭🇰, Singapore 🇸🇬, Malaysia 🇲🇾, Thailand 🇹🇭, Cambodia 🇰🇭, and Australia 🇦🇺, since I was six years old. This has allowed me to learn and appreciate diverse stories that appeal to different cultures around the world and inspired my collections."

GIZELLA aims to demonstrate the benefits of reusing, reducing, and promoting sustainability after production. These items can used for other projects and home décor or given to someone as gifts.
